Responsibilities and duties
- The head nurse acts as the interface between nursing staff and patients and upholds the values that form the basis of the care relationship. He or she organises home care, assesses the person's needs and ensures that care services run smoothly.
- He conducts rounds alone or with members of the team.
- He supervises, manages and monitors several teams of home care workers.
- He plans, distributes and adapts the schedules of healthcare staff using the IT tools provided.
- He organises and follows up on team meetings.
- He participates in the recruitment process, organises problem-solving, operational and assessment interviews, and oversees the training of workers.
- He manages nursing activities and is responsible for financial management through monitoring indicators and applying management rules.
- It is part of an interdisciplinary effort involving collaboration with other professionals.
- He collaborates with and ensures the ASD's representation among external partners.
- He actively participates in training sessions and meetings and respects the decisions made and/or actions to be taken.
- He carries out guard duties according to the criteria defined by the ASD management.
