Responsibilities and duties
You report to the head nurse and the ASD management.
SERVICES AT THE BENEFICIARY'S PREMISES
- Provide nursing care according to the care plan established based on the recipient's needs.
- Decoding patients' needs and ensuring their comprehensive care.
- Listen to the beneficiary and their family and friends.
- Provide an appropriate response through nursing care and carry out this care, taking priorities into account.
- Prepare and update the patient's nursing record in accordance with current legislation.
- Promote and implement handling techniques, including technical aids (patient lifts, electric beds, hoists, etc.).
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of services (medical certificate, Katz scale, etc.).
- Encourage the beneficiary to develop, maintain or restore their independence.
- Integrate your actions into a preventive framework.
- Providing support to family carers.
WORKING WITHIN A TEAM OF NURSING PRACTITIONERS
- Integrate into a team and work under the supervision of the head nurse and/or assistant head nurse.
- Collaborate and relay all relevant information within the team and to its head nurse and/or assistant head nurse, in order to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise the activities delegated to nursing assistants in accordance with legislation.
- Engage and mobilise team resources (referral nurse, liaison nurse, diabetes educator, etc.).
INTERDISCIPLINARY WORK
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with all internal departments and stakeholders at the ASD in order to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Be part of an interdisciplinary team providing home help and care, liaising with other professionals (both within and outside the ASD) for any tasks that fall outside your area of expertise.
- Pass on any useful information to the relevant person at the ASD.
- Collaborate with external organisations such as hospitals, mental health centres, etc., in accordance with instructions received from management and decisions made by the team.
- Collaborate with institutions that revolve around the beneficiary (hospital, mental health centre, etc.).
- Collaborate with and consult the beneficiary's general practitioner and/or specialist (2issue place).
- Get involved and participate in the partnerships developed by the ASD.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TASKS
- Promote and uphold ASD's operations and values.
- Ensure that your professional activities are carried out in accordance with the quality charter at all times.
- Integrate one's actions in accordance with the rules of professional ethics, duty of discretion, professional secrecy and shared secrecy.
- Comply with safety standards and apply basic rules to avoid any risk to your health (accidents and illness).
- Complete the various administrative documents and strictly adhere to the relevant instructions and deadlines.
- Actively participate in meetings (team meetings, coordination meetings, general staff meetings, etc.) and comply with the decisions made and/or actions to be taken.
- Actively participate in training courses (by assessing your needs and consulting with your head nurse and/or assistant head nurse) and ensure that the skills you have acquired are put into practice.
- Use the equipment provided (car, mobile phone, tablet, medical equipment, etc.) wisely.
- Provide guidance, supervision and assessment for nursing students or nursing assistants.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Hold a diploma, qualification or certificate. The diploma, qualification or certificate is obtained through the following courses:
- Graduate nursing diploma: full-time education – higher level – comprising at least three years of study or its equivalent in adult education, organised in an educational establishment recognised by the competent authority.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing: full-time education – higher level – comprising at least three years of study or its equivalent in adult education, organised in an educational establishment recognised by the competent authority.
- Hospital nurse certificate: full-time education – upper secondary level – comprising at least three years of study or its equivalent in adult education, organised in an educational establishment recognised by the competent authority.
The diploma, title or certificate must be approved in advance by the SPF Public Health.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Demonstrate expertise in technical nursing services and procedures that may be delegated by a doctor and performed within the scope of 1era line.
- Know how to work in an interdisciplinary manner, referring to other professionals for any actions that are not within one's area of expertise.
- Knowing how to adapt your approach to situations at home.
- Knowing how to work independently at home while respecting service guidelines, team decisions and beneficiaries in the context of their daily lives.
- Demonstrate the ability to observe, reflect, analyse and communicate information about situations encountered.
